Presenting some of our previous projects...

Party Food: Easy cupcakes

Not every one can bake and sometimes store-bought treats can be expensive. There are cost-effective ways of creating your own party treats. Try making these mini cupcakes for your loved one's party. You can also turn this into "bonding time" by making your kids help out.

Ingredients:

One plastic of Mini Keyk (pack of 12 wherein each pack has 2 mini cupcake inside) - mocha or chocolate flavour
One tub of icing (available at supermarkets) or one box of ready to mix icing
Assorted sprinkles

Steps:

Put all mini keyks in a tray.
Spread icing.
Put sprinkles.

Party Food: Fairy Bread

The Party Fairies love Fairy Bread! Fairy bread is commonly served at children's parties in Australia and New Zealand. According to Wikipedia, The origin of the term is not widely known, but it may come from the poem 'Fairy Bread' in Robert Louis Stevenson's A Child's Garden of Verses, published in 1885.

Ingredients

  • Bread slices
  • Sprinkles (also known as 100s and 1000s in the original recipe)
  • Butter

Steps

  • Take out white bread, cut off the crusts or leave them on.
  • Spread some butter. Margarine can be used as a substitute but butter tastes better to many people.
  • Put sprinkles on top.
  • Cut the bread diagonally into triangles.
  • Serve on a pretty plate.

Variation:

  • White bread tastes best but you can other breads like rainbow bread.
  • You can use cookie cutters or kitchen scissors to cut out different shapes.
  • Margarine can be substituted for butter.
  • You can also substitute nutella or peanut butter for the butter.
  • You can use other types of sprinkles (as the 100s and 1000s are not available in the Philippines). Rainbow ones have the most fairy-like appeal.
